We had a wonderful day today with my father. Took my dad and Skylar shopping and also picked up some clothes for Ian which I will be suprising him with tomorrow (he never shops for himself) the only new clothes he’s gotten the past five years was from me. Got some tropical smoothie and played video games. Skylar has been doing awesome as always. He’s been attempting to take steps every day, and today walked towards me with the support of the couch. He learned the sign for bed time- which is awfully adorable. He’s been understanding my questions and requests more each day and getting so damn smart. He’s now telling me when he went potty and asking me to change him! So I bought a little potty for him and we’re going to attempt at this the following weeks. I don’t expect him to do it for another 6 months + because he’s not walking but there’s no harm in starting right? I have a meeting with a potential occupational therapist next week to do a review of Skylar, which I am extremely eager to start. Hopefully everything works out and we can get on the ball with this.
I just can’t believe how grown up he looks now, even more handsome.
Life is good.
